Coming off of the heels of #BlackHistoryMonth and just in time for #WomensHistoryMonth, the movie “Alice”, starring #KekePalmer and #Common is debuted on March 18, 2022. Palmer not only starred in the film, but also had a role as #ExecutiveProducer!
The movie was inspired by true events in the life of #MaeLouiseMiller. Her family was still enslaved after the Emancipation Proclamation – with them not “gaining freedom”until 1963. Don’t worry, we’ve got a story for you on that too.
Next up is Jordan Peele’s movie #NOPE slated to debut this summer costarring Daniel Kaluuya. Palmer is also voicing character Izzy Hawthorne in #Disneys #Lightyear which we can look at as Buzz Lightyear’s #OriginStory coming to theaters June 2022.
Currently, you can catch Ms. Palmer in #OldNavy commercials and lending her voice on #HumanResources (Spinoff of Netflix’s #BigMouth) as #RochelletheLoveBug. It’s great seeing her continue move into the spinoff since we met her in Season 5 of Big Mouth and fans couldn’t get enough of her.
Palmer has remained in the solid in the acting game and has definitely has branched out from her roles on #Nickelodeon – #TrueJacksonVP, #Barbershop2 #BackInBusiness to hosting #MTVAwards (she was also the first Black actress to play #Cinderella on #Broadway.
