Beyoncé has introduced a new 7-piece styling collection from her haircare brand Cécred, designed to protect hair health even under extreme tour conditions. The products were tested during her intense “Cowboy Carter” tour, where she performed in heat, humidity, rain, and long 3-hour shows.

The global star made it clear that these products are not just for show—they are built from real-life experience. More importantly, they reflect her commitment to maintaining healthy hair without relying on relaxers or damaging heat practices.

Beyoncé’s Cécred Styling Products Built From Real Tour Experience

Beyoncé explained that the new Cécred line came directly from her personal struggles managing her hair while performing on tour. Instead of using chemical treatments, she focused on finding safer ways to style and protect her natural hair.

“A lot of these products were designed from a desire to solve my own issues with my hair while on tour,” she said. “I don’t use relaxers, so I’m very big on protecting the hair from heat damage when I style.”

As a result, the collection offers solutions that balance strong hold with hair protection. This approach is especially important for people who want styled hair without risking long-term damage.

Inside the 7 Cécred Styling Products and What They Do

The seven products each serve a clear purpose. The lineup includes a Thermal Shield Mist, Heat-Activated Silk Glaze, Volumizing Mousse, Wrap & Set Foam, Strong Hold Gel, Flexible Hold Hairspray, and an Edge Brush.

Each product was tested during live performances to make sure it could hold up under pressure. From sleek styles to braid-outs and big blowouts, the collection is designed to support different hair types and styles.

Additionally, the products are priced between $18 and $38, making them accessible to a wide range of users. The collection officially launched online on March 19, with in-store availability at Ulta Beauty starting in April.

How Cécred Protects Hair With Science and Innovation

Beyond styling, Cécred focuses heavily on hair health. The brand uses a special StemShield Complex, a science-backed formula designed to protect hair strands during styling.

Beyoncé Explains Why Hair Protection Matters on Tour

Tour life pushed Beyoncé to rethink how styling products should work. She described performing in extreme weather, including 100-degree heat, heavy rain, and high humidity, all while maintaining her look.

“Tour weather is unpredictable… I’m drenched in sweat and those styles must make it through a three-hour show,” she said. “I wasn’t finding stylers that could perform at the necessary level without affecting my hair health.”

Because of this, she focused on creating products that are both strong and lightweight. The goal was simple: keep styles in place while protecting the hair underneath.

A Family Brand Rooted in Black Hair Care Excellence

Cécred was co-founded by Beyoncé and her mother, Tina Knowles, making it a brand deeply connected to Black hair care traditions. Over time, the brand has gained attention for combining cultural knowledge with modern science.

Beyoncé also shared that she personally tests the products at home. From styling her own hair to using them on her children, she stands behind their performance.

“We have put each one of these to the test,” she said, noting that some formulas were even tested as early as 2024 during a Super Bowl-related project.
