Megan Thee Stallion Launches Her Own Popeyes Location
Megan Thee Stallion is now a restaurant owner. The Grammy-winning rapper just revealed she’s opening her very first Popeyes franchise.
She shared the exciting news in a TikTok video, wearing a “hottie” construction helmet while touring the under-construction site. “My very own Popeyes is opening this summer, Hotties,” she said. “It’s still just the bones right now, but this is about to be the littlest Popeyes ever.”
From Music Icon to Restaurant Boss
This new venture marks a major move for Megan as she steps into the world of business. Already known for her music, she’s now making waves in food and franchising.
Her restaurant isn’t just a one-off project. It’s part of a larger franchise deal, making her a multi-unit franchise owner. This builds on her 2021 partnership with Popeyes, which introduced the popular “Hottie Sauce.”
The Hottie Sauce and A Growing Business Empire
Back in 2021, Megan and Popeyes teamed up to release the limited-edition “Hottie Sauce.” It featured a bold mix of honey, vinegar, and Aleppo pepper.
That partnership also came with co-branded merchandise and a long-term business deal. Her move into restaurant ownership is the latest step in growing her business portfolio beyond music.
Megan Keeps Rising Despite Legal Challenges
Even with her business wins, Megan has faced public challenges. In January, a judge granted her a five-year restraining order against rapper Tory Lanez. He is serving 10 years for shooting her in 2020.
Megan also filed a lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz for allegedly spreading lies and sharing a fake, altered video of her. She says the blogger worked with Lanez to damage her image.
A New Song and a New Chapter
While building her business, Megan hasn’t slowed down musically. She recently released her new single “Whenever,” part of her upcoming album chapter.
This balance of business, music, and strength through hardship shows just how powerful Megan Thee Stallion continues to be. Her new Popeyes venture is one more way she’s claiming her space—and inspiring others to do the same.
