After leaving the hotel in March 2022, Robinson started researching people who live in their vehicles by choice. “I felt free. That was a sense of freedom that I had… I felt like I was on a camping trip,” she said.
She discovered a community of individuals who embraced mobile living and found inspiration in their resilience. Although her situation was not entirely by choice, she has found ways to adapt and maintain a positive mindset.

Robinson acknowledged that some people questioned why she would share such personal details. “People told me, ‘You shouldn’t talk about it because you’re a celebrity. What if they judge you?’” But she responded with confidence: “So what? We’re all judged. Life is life.”
She hopes to challenge others to face their fears and be honest about their struggles. “This is not like, ‘Oh, poor Dawn.’ I’m learning about myself, as a person, as a woman,” she explained.
