Record-Breaking Moment for Latto

Latto, the 25-year-old rapper, is set to make history by becoming the first female artist to headline the Hot 107.9 Atlanta’s Birthday Bash, a prestigious summertime concert.

The rapper celebrated this milestone on social media, excitedly captioning a post: “1ST FEMALE TO HEADLINE BIRTHDAY BASH!!! @hot1079atl I’m bringing out hellaaaaaaa special guests.”

In a short clip, Latto recreated a scene from her latest music video, headed to the radio station while sporting a “Big Latto Bash” t-shirt. She officially announced her headlining act for the yearly event on June 22.

Star-Studded Lineup and Viral Success

Other artists confirmed for Hot 107.9’s 29th birthday celebration include Key Glock, Killer Mike, Boosie Badazz, and Tee Grizzley, with more names to be revealed later, according to HipHopDX.

Latto promises to bring out numerous “special guests,” hinting at a star-studded lineup.

Viral Hit and Chart Performance

Latto has already made headlines this year with her viral “Sunday Service” song, as reported by Vibe.

Released on February 9 and produced by Go Grizzly, Pooh Beatz, and Bankroll Got It, the track went viral due to its hidden bars and reference-heavy music video.

Despite the online buzz, “Sunday Service” only peaked at 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 and did not significantly impact the charts, according to HipHopDx.

As a rising star in the hip-hop scene, Latto’s headlining performance at the Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash is a significant achievement. Fans eagerly anticipate her high-energy set and the potential surprise guests she might bring out.

With her viral success and growing popularity, Latto’s historic performance promises to be a memorable night for Atlanta’s music scene.
